I work with Dr. John DiPersio to design, facilitate, and manage projects being developed within his laboratory for translation into clinical trials. Projects currently under development include anti-leukemia therapies, targeted immunotherapies (chimeric antigen receptor-transduced T cells and bispecific targeting reagents), prevention/modulation of graft vs. host disease, mobilization of hematopoietic stem cells, and mobilization of leukemia cells to restore sensitivity to chemotherapy.

Specific aspects on which I function as a point person include:

  • Development and execution of manufacturing processes
  • Interactions with internal and external regulatory agencies
  • Interactions with industry to test products in vitro, in vivo, and in clinical trials
