My research interests include developing novel cancer therapeutics for patients with advanced cancer, overcoming resistance by combining therapeutic agents, identifying predictors of response to molecularly targeted therapy and immunotherapy, and extending survival while maintaining quality of life in patients with metastatic cancer. I have been involved in phase I clinical trials to provide investigational options for patients who do not have better treatment options. I am currently involved in designing clinical trials such as a combination immunotherapy strategy to enhance the effect of immunotherapy in resistant cancer types and developing a novel nanophototherapeutic agent for metastatic cancer.

My clinical interests are in breast cancer and gastrointestinal cancer.
