The first of its kind, dedicated adult Sickle Cell Treatment Center in the St. Louis metro region opened today in a 1,700-square-foot space on the third floor of the Center for Advanced Medicine. The Sickle Cell Treatment Center represents a major milestone in ongoing efforts by Barnes-Jewish Hospital and partners across BJC HealthCare to provide care for this under-resourced population of patients.
